Interactive Whiteboards @ Tagai Campuses
Students and Teachers at Dauan Island Campus recently had the latest in interactive teaching resources installed in their classroom. The Teamboard Interactive Whiteboards allow teachers to display a computer screen on a large whiteboard which then becomes a giant touchscreen. Teacher Miss Nina Gibbs, seen with some of the lucky students from Dauan, is learning how to use this valuable resource in her daily lessons. Since mid 2007 there has been over 20 of the IWBs (Interactive Whiteboards) installed in almost all campuses. Those without them will have them installed very shortly. Teachers have commented on how the IWB has changed the way they teach. It is great to see the latest technology being used to teach students in some of the most remote schools in Australia. Tagai plans to increase the amount of IWBs in our schools over the coming months. |
