Badu Island State School is a P-7 school that is very committed and focused on the implementation of the Bound for Success strategy. In doing this our school is very focused on being professional and accountable to embedding our new school vision of 'Our Way, Our Strength, Strong Futures' to ensure the best possible student learning outcomes are attained for all students and that staff members are confident and competent in carrying out their duties.
Our school has been identified as a Centre of Excellence in Indigenous Education under the Partners for Success strategy. Strong community partnerships have been well established with all local agencies through our community interagency strategy.
Enrolment in 2005 was165 students. English is the second or third language for the majority of the students. |
