SET PLAN: Setting students for success
On Monday 22 & Tuesday 23 June Tagai State College Secondary Campus will be hosting Senior Education and Training Plan (SET Plan) interviews with Year 10 students and their parents.
A Senior Education and Training Plan, or SET Plan, is a formal document that records a student’s career goal/s and their individual learning pathway through the Senior Phase of Learning.
In Tagai State College, the SET Plan is used to ensure that students make the most of this opportunity - participating in the learning experiences that will support their transition into the education, training or employment pathway of choice.
The SET Plan is a working document - regularly reviewed to ensure that it reflects the student’s needs and current learning pathway.
The document is first completed in Term 2 as a part of a two-day program. During this program, students participate in information sessions, career planning workshops and parent-school interviews.
Parents or community members wishing to find out more about SET Plans shoudl contact the Secondary Campus: (07) 4069 2240, or visit the Senior Phase of Learning page on this website
