Pathway 1: University Study
For students aspiring to complete university studies, this pathway provides a full range of academic subject choices |
| Prerequisites: |
At least a “Sound Ability” achievement in Year 10 English & Mathematics Prepared to be academically focused, self motivated and committed to studies |
| Requirements: |
Students complete at least 5 Authority Subjects over 2 years Student sit the QCS test in Year 12 |
| Study Options: |
Students select from a range of Authority subjects, including:
- English
- English for ESL Learners
- Business Organisation Management
- Mathematics A
- Mathematics B
- Chemistry
- Home Economics
- Marine Studies
- Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Studies
- Senior Health &
Physical Education

Pathway 2: VET, Traineeship & Apprenticeship
For students wishing to complete industry-specific training and/or enhance their employability, this pathway provides a balance of vocational education and training programs with academic study. |
| Prerequisites: |
Interest in learning practical skills related to particular industry Prepared to be self-motivated in academic study, skill training & on-the-job environments Focused on the completion of all competencies or Apprenticeship/Traineeship |
| Requirements: |
Pathway is referred to as TagaiTech. Students of TagaiTech will:
- Participate in a minimum of one VET program or a
- School-based Apprenticeship/Traineeship
- Complete essential literacy and numeracy components and/or a range of Authority Registered Subjects
- Participate in on-the-job training or work placements

For students aspiring to enter the workforce after graduation, this pathway provides a full range of practical subject choices. c |

Student complete a range of Authority Registered Subjects Students are able to participate in work placements through the School-to-work program |
